A technologist with 20 years proof of concept experience. Since being diagnosed with Parkinson’s in his 40's he has been developing solutions to manage the condition.

myHealthPal is currently being trialled with Parkinson's patients at Mount Sinai Movement Disorder Clinic, under the direction of Professor Steven Frucht and Assistant Professor Ritesh Ramdhani.
Further trials with leading US and UK teaching hospitals are to be announced shortly.

The Immediate Past President of the European Brain Council and President of their ‘Year of the Brain’ project. Mary is Past President of the European Federation of Neurological Associations, Consultant to the World Health Organisation (WHO), Chair of the Working Group on Parkinson’s Disease, a member of the Strategic Advisory Board of the Human Brain Project, and a member of the Commission’s CONNECT Advisory Forum.

A Parkinson’s UK Doctoral Research Fellow at the UCL Institute of Neurology. His main interest is Parkinson’s disease and related Movement Disorders, particularly early identification and epidemiology, including environmental, clinical and genetic determinants of Parkinson’s. His other interests include objective measurement of motor and non-motor features of Parkinson’s.
